Buyers and Procurement Officer

Salary: £38,700 per annum

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyers and Procurement Officer to support our growing import and wholesale operation of Asian fresh produce across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend shows and demonstrations to research produce
  • Assess budget and customer demand to determine product volume and quality
  • Place and manage overseas import orders
  • Monitor supply chain performance and product delivery
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve quality issues
  • Work closely with UK buyers and forecast demand
  • Prepare procurement reports and improve buyer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement or international sourcing
  • Strong understanding of fresh produce and seasonal variation
  • Fluency in English; additional South Asian language is advantageous
  • Ability to negotiate and coordinate with overseas suppliers
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Familiarity with food logistics or perishable goods is preferred

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Advertising Manager to lead and implement targeted campaigns that promote our Asian produce portfolio to both retail and wholesale audiences in the UK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to define marketing goals
  • Identify suitable media channels (social, print, TV, digital)
  • Design and manage multimedia advertising campaigns
  • Use photography and video to highlight product range
  • Evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategy
  • Stay updated on media trends and advertising rates
  • Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and seminars to promote brand

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing or advertising
  • Proven success in B2B or food marketing campaigns
  • Strong content planning, media buying, and creative design skills
  • Knowledge of ethnic food markets is desirable
  • Strong communication and digital marketing experience
